Henry's All Star Tournament at Crawford County - July 8-11, 2009

Henry had his first All Star tournament at Crawford County. Benjamin had his Sate All Star Tournament in Corydon. They both started on Wednesday, the 8th. Here is a shot before Jason and I headed in different directions - to the two tournaments. What handsome boys!!!

Here is an action shot. Henry plays third base. He made some catches, made a throw to second for an out and tagged third several times for outs. He was on fire!

We were playing Crawford and beat them.

It was a late night - they played the 7:45 game - and it was cloudy. Made for tough photo conditions :)

They played Huntingburg and won.

I didn't take any pictures of their game Friday night - took some video. They played Corydon (for the second time in just over a week) and won! They went undefeated in "pool play" so they were ranted #1 going into the tournament.

They played Crawford (#4) Saturday morning at 10:00. They won!

So, they played Corydon (who beat Huntingburg) in the Championship game. Check out this hitter. He had some nice hits in this game :)

We were up by a couple runs going into the bottom of the 5th inning. Corydon got some hits and beat us :( We came in second in our first ever tournament. Pretty darn good!!

They got some nice trophies for it :)
