Henry's 7th Birthday

We had a small family party the night before Henry's birthday.....

Cap guns from Mommy and Daddy.  Awesome!!!  Everyone needs cap guns! 

7 foot tall rocket!!!!  They weren't sure what to think of this...... 

The theme of Henry's party was "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles".  So, we went with their emblem for the cake....

Henry came down with a headache and fever on Friday - woke up with a higher fever the following morning - on his birthday.....I took him to the doctor - strep again.......  He treated him with the last medical option (recommended surgery if this doesn't knock it).  We're taking this antibiotic treatment and will go to our pediatric chiropractor for a natural treatment and continuing with natural preventative stufff before considering surgery....  Keep Henry in your prayers that his body can fight off the strep that he's exposed to.

Anyway - got the meds and he was feeling good.  We went ahead with the party - "adults only"!  Henry said that he didn't want any little kids coming over because - per Henry - "they'd have to tell me secrets and get in my face - and I don't want anyone getting this from me".  So sweet!!!!!!  So, we called the kids and rescheduled a "kid only" party......

We had a small "adult only" party - but Henry was so happy.......  Thanks to Grandma Max, Pappa Brian, Grandma Davis, Granpa Davis, Jeannie, and Brittany for coming!

Grandma Max and Pappa Brian got him his own sleeping bag.  He had to try it out!!  We'll take that with us tonight - on our camping trip at Buffalo Trace.

The 7 foot rocket!!!  It did pretty good on the first launch.  Got a hole in it and it was freezing outside - so we postponed the next launch :)

We had the rescheduled "friend" party on Tuesday, after school.  Only Isaac could come - so Henry and his brothers had a good time with Isaac (a very sweet little boy).  They ate cake and ice cream and played with everything in their goody bags :)

Henry had a great 7th birthday!!

Thanks to everyone who sent him gifts and cards and called.  It all means to much to Henry (and Jason and me).  We are so blessed to have such a great family and so many good friends!
