Henry's First Grade Fieldtrip to "The Nutcracker" - December 18th

I chaperoned Henry's First Grade class to the Kentucky Center for the Arts to see "The Nutcracker".  We had great seats!  Row J - seats 31 and 30.

Jenna was standing right in front of me - nice view of the stage, huh?!  Couldn't have afforded these seats during a full production!

Afterwards, we went to Walnut Ridge Nursery.  They have a nice set up for the kids - tables in the back where we can eat our packed lunches, story time, Santa for the kids to see, and tables specially set up for our first graders of discounted ornaments where they could shop.  I had Cameron King and Henry in my group.  They are good buds!

Henry got to tell Santa (once again) what all he wants.  I'm sure he's come up with a thing or two by now - but had consistently told everyone that whatever they get him will be fine - that he doesn't really want anything.  How sweet is that?!?!?!  Sweet and true - because he "needs" nothing.  Well, besides clothes - but what kid wants to ask for clothes?!?!?

The area where we ate.  At this time, one of the workers was reading a Christmas book to the kids.  So nice!!!  I love that Walnut Ridge does this!
